The SK10SR-2E was launched in 2019. Its bucket cylinder sits under the boom, which mounts the boom base higher and gives more dump height. Bucket breakout force depends a lot on the bucket size used for the measurement.

What the table shows

The SK10SR-2E dumps higher (2,320 / 1,820 mm), reaches further (3,210 / 3,090 mm) and has higher published breakout forces (bucket 10.8 / 8.3 kN); the E10z digs 70 mm deeper.

What it means on the job

Through an interior doorway

A doorway 740 mm wide: the E10z (710 mm retracted) passes with 30 mm to spare. The SK10SR-2E is 750 mm wide.

Calculation: 740 − 710 = 30 mm; 750 > 740

Digging in a basement next to a wall

With zero tail swing the E10z's rear stays within its tracks when slewing. The SK10SR-2E's rear projects 260 mm.

Breaking a concrete floor for several hours

An oil cooler for continuous hydraulic breaker work is an option on the E10z. None is available for the SK10SR-2E.

Working on a slope

Expanded, the E10z stands on a 1,100 mm track width, the SK10SR-2E on 980 mm.

Calculation: 1,100 − 980 = 120 mm wider stance
