What the table shows

Breakout forces: bucket 18.33 / 15.6 kN, arm 12.63 / 9.2 kN — with 29% less engine power (10.3 / 14.6 kW) and 39% less pump flow (44 / 72 l/min).
Only the E19 R2 is offered with a long arm (2,544 mm digging depth) and a heavy counterweight; with the short arm the digging depths are 2,364 / 2,360 mm.
Boom swing to the right: 60° / 46°. Machine height: 2,329 / 2,420 mm.
The SY18C has less tail overhang (245 / 339 mm).

What it means on the job

Mowing a ditch bank with a flail mower

The machine travels along the ditch while the mower runs and the arm follows the bank — travel, auxiliary flow and arm movement at the same time. In Bobcat's test the E19 R2 ran all three together; the SY18C has no flow sharing, and its hydraulic movements could not be combined.

Getting into the cab

The SY18C cab floor is 46 cm above the track: a high step every time the operator gets in or out, and 10 cm more machine height.

Digging along a wall on the right

With the boom offset to the right, the E19 R2 swings 60°, the SY18C 46°: the E19 R2 brings the bucket closer to a wall on the right without moving the machine.

What it affects: A cylinder under the boom works closer to the bucket, trench walls and material, where it is more exposed to knocks.

Rollers and swing frame

What it affects: Interlocking tracks keep the track guided on the rollers; an in-track swing frame lets the machine work closer to a wall.

Power and control

What it affects: Combined movements matter for attachments that need travel and auxiliary flow together, such as a flail mower.
