The table combines manufacturers' data and measurements from Bobcat's comparison tests (06-2025).
By operating weight the E19 R2 sits between the Wacker Neuson ET18 and ET20; the ET20 is heavier and has a more powerful engine. Wacker Neuson offers the VDS (Vertical Digging System) tilting upper structure as an option on both.
— means the manufacturer does not publish this figure.
To slew without touching a wall or fence, the tracks must stand at least the tail overhang away from it: 34 cm for the E19 R2, 51 cm for the ET20.
Calculation: tail overhang 339 / 510 mm
The machine travels along the ditch while the mower runs and the arm follows the bank — travel, auxiliary flow and arm movement at the same time. In Bobcat's test the E19 R2 ran all three together; the ET20's open-centre hydraulics allowed fewer combined movements.
The ET20 reaches the same digging forces with a 66.7 l/min pump and a 13.4 kW engine; the E19 R2 with 44 l/min and 10.3 kW.
Calculation: 66.7 ÷ 44 = 1.52; 13.4 ÷ 10.3 = 1.30
Measurements and notes come from Bobcat's comparison tests (06-2025), in which both machines did the same jobs. These figures are not in the manufacturers' brochures. “Operator's opinion” is the personal impression of the operator who worked in the test: it is subjective, and your experience may differ.

What it affects: A cylinder under the boom works closer to the bucket, trench walls and material, where it is more exposed to knocks.

What it affects: Tail overhang decides how close to a wall or obstacle the machine can slew without touching it.

What it affects: An in-track swing frame lets the machine work closer to a wall.

Operator's opinionsubjectiveThe engine and hydraulics sounded quieter.
Operator's opinionsubjectiveThe engine and hydraulics sounded louder.
What it affects: Combined movements matter for attachments that need travel and auxiliary flow together, such as a flail mower.
Operator's opinionsubjectiveNoticeable vibration when travelling.
