On the SV19VT the long arm (1,250 mm) is standard and the short arm (960 mm) optional. Both machines are available with canopy or cab. The SV19VT has bucket and arm cylinder guards as standard; on the E19 R2 they are a kit.

What the table shows

Breakout forces: bucket 18.33 / 16.7 kN; arm 12.63 / 11.4 kN with the short arm, 11.51 / 9.3 kN with the long arm.
Tail overhang: 339 mm on the E19 R2 with either counterweight; 400 mm on the SV19VT, 470 mm with its additional counterweight.
Track length on the ground: 1,258 / 1,185 mm.
The SV19VT digs deeper with its long arm (2,760 / 2,544 mm) and dumps higher (2,780 / 2,716 mm); the E19 R2 reaches further at ground level (4,237 / 4,135 mm).

What it means on the job

Slewing next to a wall

To slew without touching a wall or fence, the tracks must stand at least the tail overhang away from it: 34 cm for the E19 R2, 40 cm for the SV19VT (47 cm with its additional counterweight).

Mowing a ditch bank with a flail mower

The machine travels along the ditch while the mower runs and the arm follows the bank — travel, auxiliary flow and arm movement at the same time. In Bobcat's test the E19 R2 ran all three together; the SV19VT has no load sensing, and to the test operator its movements felt irregular under combined use.

Leaving the machine on site overnight

The E19 R2 has a battery isolator reachable from outside the cab. The SV19VT has none: to isolate the battery, the cable has to be disconnected.

Cleaning radiators after a dusty day

The E19 R2's coolers are directly accessible for cleaning; on the SV19VT they are not.
