What sets this model apart

More Predictable

Bobcat® compact excavators give you perfect control of the boom, arm and bucket, even in the most challenging work environments. Having confidence in this control and your precise movements enables you to complete the job using your machine, instead of doing it with manual labour. This predictable control is delivered through exclusive control valve systems and torque-limiting piston pumps that match force with demand.

Retractable Undercarriage

You can work in confined areas and squeeze through the tightest workspaces by retracting the tracks on Bobcat® E08, E10z, E17, E17z, E19, E19e and E20z compact excavators. The hydraulically activated retractable undercarriage is the ideal solution for access through narrow gates and doorways.

Conventional Tail Swing

Compared to other modesl in the Bobcat line-up with minimal or zero tail swing, conventional tail-swing models typically deliver the greatest lift capacity. Some of our conventional tail-swing excavators may also have a narrower stance (width) for easier access through doorways, gates, property boundaries or other restrictions. It can also be helpful when you load the machine on a trailer for transportation.

Retractable Blade

You don't need any tools to adjust the blade extensions on E08, E10z, E17, E17z, E19, E19e and E20z models. You can easily remove the blade extensions and store them directly on the blade structure.

Canopy

Bobcat® compact excavators feature a unique canopy that gives operators better visibility in confined areas. The lightweigh design, which is ROPS, TOPS and FOGS certified, keeps compaction to a minimum when crossing lawns and other established surfaces.

Top Mounted Boom Cylinder

On Bobcat® E08, E10z, E17, E17z, E19, E19e and E20z models, vital machine components have additional protection from damage. The hydraulic cylinder is mounted on top of the boom to prevent accidental contact with the trench, bucket or any nearby obstacles. For 1-2T models, the boom cylinder might be further protected by cylinder guard.

Integrated Slew Brakes

For more accurate placement of your load, the integrated slew brakes hold the machine steady on slopes. This makes it easier to load the machine, and you no longer need to manually engage the slew brakes during transport.

Low Noise

Equipped with an electric motor, E19e is noticably quieter compared to its diesel counterpart, greatly improving the comfort of the operator.

Zero Emission

Work in gardens or parks without risking damage to plants and property – no need to worry about hot exhaust fumes and smoke like a conventional engine would emit.

All Day Battery

Following the daily working routine, the new E19e can operate throughout a full working day.

Supercharger

Using an external Supercharger functionality, the batteries can be recharged to 100% of battery capacity in less than 2 hours.

Position in the range Electric

Machines in one range are compared against each other — these are the four figures the choice usually comes down to.

Electric with no loss of output

Bobcat's second electric excavator: over 20 kN of bucket digging force, two auxiliary hydraulic lines and proportional fingertip control — in capability this is a 2-tonne class machine, not a stripped-down version.

Why a Bobcat compact excavator

The design decisions that determine where the machine can work and what you can hang on it.

Zero emissions, indoor capable

There is no exhaust at all, so the machine works inside buildings, in basements and anywhere a combustion engine would not be permitted. Noise at the operator station is 72 dB(A) on the E10e and 75 dB(A) on the E19e against 80 dB(A) on the diesel E10z — which opens up early hours and residential areas.

A battery for the full shift

A Li-Ion battery of 11.52 kWh on the E10e and 17.28 kWh on the E19e. The on-board 110 / 230 V charger fills the machine overnight from an ordinary socket; the external 400 V Supercharger restores the charge in a little over an hour on the E10e and under two on the E19e — that is, over a lunch break.

Bobcat Protection Plus — warranty duration and hours table BobCARE PM

Invested in a Bobcat? Protect that investment.

  1. Protection Plus — extended warranty. Up to 5 years or 6,000 hours of full coverage, just like day one of the standard warranty. No surprise repair bills.
  2. BobCARE PM — planned maintenance. Your dealer services the machine on the factory schedule — no planning on your side, just a call or the PM-hours reminder on the display.
  3. Resale value. A documented service history plus an active extended warranty raise the machine's residual value and make it easier to sell or hand over to a new owner.
