With superior stability and performance, excellent ergonomics and easy maintenance, this excavator will be a great asset to your arsenal.
See how the strongest digging excavators can improve your work performance.
Low effort joysticks coupled with the new generation control valve make the workgroup feel like the extension of the operator’s arm. Improved metering and dual slope control curves are developed for operators of all skills and experiences.
The E88 has been designed to achieve superior 360-degree stability even when digging over-side or handling heavier loads. The improved counterweight design, longer tracks, and dual flange rollers guarantee class-leading front and over-side stability.
The time-proven D24 engine - now in a new Stage V compliant with improved performance characteristics - is used in thousands of Bobcat machines worldwide.
The E88 feels like an extension of the operator’s hands with state-of-the-art technology. It features the latest generation main control valve and proportional thumb-controlled boom swing offset – combined with Bobcat’s traditional high performance.
Professionals know the value of matching their equipment to the work at hand. Bobcat’s lineup includes a range of options to meet the needs of every job. E88 features a low overhang over the track profile for easy access to the task.
Get more done with less effort thanks to Bobcat's signature high productivity. Fast cycle times, high digging forces, and superior front and side stability are the name of the game.
Don’t let its impressive power fool you: the E88 remains surprisingly transportable. You can load it onto a standard hook lifter container truck thanks to its thoughtfully designed dimensions and tie-down points.
More standard comfort features make tackling hard work easier.
Enjoy ample space and legroom inside the cabin, ergonomic interior design, easy access to critical controls, and optional comfort features such as a heated seat with a high back and headrest.
The best-in-class panoramic visibility is the keystone to working precisely and safely. Features such as powerful demisting, LED lights and an optional rear view camera ensure that the operator is fully aware of the working area around the machine.
Stay productive all day long with Bobcat ergonomic controls. Grade, level, and backfill with less effort. Then head to the next work area using the one-hand travel control and adjust the arm rests for added comfort.
See and control everything important on the standard 5-inch display or the optional 7-inch touch screen with Bluetooth, hands-free calling, and media streaming. You can also automatically switch to Dark Mode in low light.
Easy maintenance routines give you more reliable performance and peace of mind.
Take care of everyday maintenance and even minor repairs without leaving the job site, thanks to the accessible and cleverly positioned service points and large covers.
Intelligently designed components keep you working on the jobsite.
Avoid fuel spills and wastage with the Bobcat Fuel Fill Pump. Your excavator can be equipped with a fuel-fill pump with an automatic shutdown as an optional extra.
The integrated slew brakes hold the machine steady on slopes For more accurate load placement. This makes it easier to load the machine, and you no longer need to manually engage the slew brakes during transport.
The optional steel tracks have a segmented construction, enabling quick and convenient repair. Optional rubber pads ensure a more comfortable ride.
Machine Telematics give you greater control over your Bobcat machine. The data-driven monitoring and durable built-in electronics let you maximize uptime and optimize the machine for your business.
The industry leader in attachments and attachment-ready features.
Excellent tool carriers: up to 5 arm-mounted hydraulic auxiliary lines and award-winning A-SAC technology (Advanced Selectable Auxiliary Control) enable a wide range of machine customization to match any attachment requirement.
Take on any job with confidence-inspiring stability and balance – even with the heaviest attachments.
Machines in one range are compared against each other — these are the four figures the choice usually comes down to.
Bobcat's largest compact excavator: stability and balance hold up even with the heaviest attachments, up to five hydraulic circuits, and the boom can be specified articulated — which puts the machine to work where a conventional one has no room to turn.

The design decisions that determine where the machine can work and what you can hang on it.
The dual-section boom folds, so the machine gets right up against a wall and works around obstacles where a mono boom runs out of room. The gain is not only in reach: you can dig deeper right beside the tracks and load higher and closer in. Fewer repositionings per shift means less ground disturbance and less fuel. The price is 979 kg of extra weight and giving up the long dipperstick with add-on counterweight.
Travel is on pedals: finer metering, hands free for other work and noticeably less fatigue by the end of the shift than with joysticks alone.
Advanced Selectable Auxiliary Control (A-SAC) lets you customise the control pattern for a given attachment and switch the lines between boom and arm; it is an integral part of the AUX4 option. Factory-installed couplers are the Geith pin-on, the Klac model F, the mechanical TC08 with tilt function, the mechanical QC08 and the mechanical pin grabber.
The whole range side by side — you can see what each step up actually buys.
