True Zero House Swing and a spacious cab make the E17z the ultimate mini excavator for tight job sites.
Features an adjustable double-acting AUX1 with quick couplers, a load-sensing pump, and optional AUX5 hydraulic coupler lines for smooth operation across various attachments.
The Smart Flow system optimizes flow and pressure, enhancing efficiency, precision, and overall machine performance.
The Stage V engine delivers 10.1 kW at 2 200 rpm, ensuring reliable power with reduced emissions.
A maximum digging depth of 2 230 mm and breakout forces up to 14.6 kN provide the strength needed for demanding excavation tasks.
The ZHS design allows safe operation in confined areas without worrying about accidental collisions.
The hydraulically retractable undercarriage narrows from 1 360 mm to 980 mm, allowing access to tight spaces while maintaining stability.
Proportional fingertip auxiliary and boom swing offset controls provide smooth and intuitive operation.
With a transport mass below 1.6 tons (canopy version), the E17z is designed for hassle-free transportation.
A 980 mm dozer blade with two 190 mm extensions allows quick adaptation for added support on the job.
The optional Auto Idle function automatically reduces engine speed when controls are inactive, improving fuel efficiency.
The two-speed travel system allows quick movement between job sites and precise maneuvering in tight areas.
Easy-access battery disconnection simplifies maintenance and security.
The E17z offers the largest operator space in its class, ensuring comfort and ease of movement during long shifts.
High-quality joysticks enhance the operator experience, delivering superior precision and responsiveness.
Designed for comfort, the foldable travel pedals reduce strain and improve control.
A powerful LED lighting system provides excellent visibility for early morning or late-night jobs.
The TOPS/ROPS/FOPS canopy offers safety and compliance with industry standards.
Durable metal covers open effortlessly, making routine maintenance faster and more convenient.
The hydraulic oil level is visible from outside, allowing for quick and easy checks.
Machines in one range are compared against each other — these are the four figures the choice usually comes down to.
For operators who need compactness and easy transport: transport mass just under 1.6 tonnes with zero tail swing.

The design decisions that determine where the machine can work and what you can hang on it.
An extension of zero tail swing: the front corners of the upper structure are brought inside the swing circle too, and the boom swing cylinder does not protrude when digging parallel to a wall. In practice the machine works right up against obstacles — in backyards, in urban areas and anywhere a bigger machine simply will not fit.
A flow-sharing main control valve with a load-sensing pump: pressure and flow go exactly where they are needed. Hence fast cycle times with smooth control. Boom and dipper stick cylinder cushioning — unique in this class — removes the shock at the end of travel.
The Selectable Auxiliary Control (SAC) system lets you customise the control pattern for a given attachment and switch the lines between boom and arm; it is an integral part of the AUX4 option. Geith, Klac and Lehnhoff hydraulic couplers are supported, Lehnhoff with optional tilting adapters.
The whole range side by side — you can see what each step up actually buys.
